About this role
This person will be a key member of the iShares Trading & Markets team within ETF and Index Investment (EII) Global Markets. The Trading & Markets team focuses on protecting and growing iShares primary and secondary market trading, on behalf of its clients.
Acting as an interface between external trading firms, market infrastructure and portfolio management, this team member will require outstanding collaborative skills and the ability to partner with a broad range of stakeholders. This person will be accountable for analyzing and understanding the technical nuances of ETF trading, spanning all asset classes. Protecting the primary market platform through risk management is a core function of the role; this person will be required to lead the team in responding to a broad range of market events and disruptions, requiring the ability to operate and show sound judgement whilst under pressure.
In addition, the candidate will contribute to the maintenance and prioritization pipeline for the businesses’ risk management/ trading market quality platform, hence project management skills are equally critical.
