Job Description:

The primary role of an IFS Service Center Representative II is to support an in-bound call center team dedicated to servicing the needs of our end investors that do not have an active advisor assigned to their account. You will support internal employees by working together to provide a group of LPL Financial customers with world-class service. Assisting in answering questions from Service Professionals will be a high priority.


  • Answer incoming calls per from end clients
  • Handle elevated or complex calls and take ownership of resolution
  • Own inquiries and see them through to a timely resolution
  • Participate in Queue watch to ensure staff has support with issues
  • Assist in leading team meetings and huddles as needed
  • Refer clients that are seeking financial guidance on their account to our internal team of IFS Advisors
  • Assist in onboarding new team members and provide coaching to Service Professionals
  • Receive feedback from Service Professionals to facilitate process improvements and identify training opportunities
  • Other projects as deemed necessary by management


Build Relationships with Service Escalation Team and Business Consultants to assist in resolving end client escalations.



  • Bachelor's degree preferred


  • 1-2 years of previous customer service experience
  • 1-2 years of financial services experience, investment services preferred


  • FINRA licenses preferred


MS Office, BETA, ClientWorks, MMT, Seibel, Documentum

  • Strong client focus
  • Ability to provide effective feedback
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong work ethic

Excellent organizational skills
