We have an opportunity for a Program Management Specialist to join our team as we develop and field the next generation of Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR), Meteorological and Oceanographic (METOC), and Information Operations (IO) capabilities to support the US Navy. Youll work with program leadership to monitor the cost, schedule, and performance of multiple projects, using tools like Microsoft Office and Project and have daily interactions with program office leadership, key stakeholders, and schedulers. The real power of program analysis comes from communication, so youll create program updates, risk analyses and mitigation strategies, and critical path analyses and make recommendations for improvement to program leadership. We focus on growing as a team to deliver the best support to our customers, so youll have resources for mentoring and learning new skills and tools. -8+ years of experience with program or project management, including US Navy, NAVWAR, or PEO C4I programs and policies
-Experience with managing cost, schedule, and performance of programs under the Defense Acquisition System
-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
-Knowledge of DoD or SECNAV 5000 instructions
-Secret clearance required
-BA or BS degree
Nice If You Have:
-Experience with the military preferred
-Experience with METOC, IO, or ISR programs or systems
-Experience with ACAT II or III programs
-Ability to self-start, multi-task in a fast-paced environment, and prioritize multiple tasks with minimal supervision
-Ability to support the development of program spend plans and POM inputs
-Possession of excellent team-oriented and team-building skills
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-TS/SCI clearance preferred
-MA or MS degree
-DAWIA Level I-II Certification in Program Management or similar
