On our team, youll work with project leadership to monitor cost, schedule, and performance using tools like Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc. and daily interactions with our clients, functional and development teams, etc. The real power of project analysis comes from communication, so youll create program status updates, risks, and and financial analyses and make recommendations for improvement to project leadership. We focus on growing as a team to deliver the best support to our customers, so youll have resources for mentoring and learning new skills and tools. -4+ years of experience with program or project management supporting a DoD acquisition organization
-Experience with managing cost, schedule, and performance of a program under the Defense Acquisition System
-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
-Knowledge of DoD and SECNAV 5000 instructions
-Knowledge of ACAT I, ACAT IV, Middle Tier Acquisition programs, or Navy projects
-Ability to show creativity, foresight, and mature judgment in anticipating and solving problems in program management, acquisition, and contract support
-BA or BS degree
Nice If You Have:
-Experience with supporting a Navy Systems Program Office, including NAVWAR, NAVSEA, or NAVAIR
-Experience with DoD or Navy contracting procedures and regulations preferred
-Experience with preparing briefings and reports for senior government executives preferred
-Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
-MA or MS degree
-Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) up to Level III in Program Management or Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
