Paraplanner - Client Service Associate
Job Description

Position Summary:
Ameriprise-San Diego, CA-As a Paraplanner on the Client Services team, you will directly support the daily business operations of a growing Private Wealth Advisory practice based in San Diego through systems management, direct client service, and collaborative projects. All projects assigned will help drive practice growth and foster a vibrant, immersive client experience to high net-worth families, individuals, and organizations.

With an enthusiastic yet methodical approach to project management, client service, and business processing, you seamlessly and strategically engage with both the client-facing sector of the business and the technical components of private wealth management and financial planning.

What you'll do:
• Analyze client base for opportunities and track incoming assets and investments
• Manage client onboarding and ongoing client service
• Pre-meeting project management and post-meeting project management
• Create and analyze applications and process new business
• Assist team in managing office facilities
• Serve as the key point of contact for licensed client support through e-mail, phone, and in-person visits
• Collaborate with Client Service Team on growth-oriented projects
• Maintain systems, compliance, and business metric reporting
• Ad hoc projects as assigned by PCFP Partners

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Dynamic and capable of adjusting to changing deadlines
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and demonstrated ability to learn new applications
  • Experience in Salesforce (preferred)
  • Commitment to adhere to rules and regulations as stated and required by practice and Ameriprise
  • Sincere willingness to constantly learn and grow
  • Achievement oriented-willing to take on the challenge and problem-solve through completion


Required Qualifications

Education and Other Designations:
  • 2-4 years of professional office experience preferred
  • 1-2 years of financial planning and investment office experience highly preferred
  • Preferred, but not required: Have or be able to obtain federal and state licenses and registrations for securities, including: Series 7, Series 66, and State Life, Accident and Health insurance licenses within 1 year of hiring.
