As a Senior Learning Experience Designer based in Irvine, CA office you will be a key member of our Investment Operations (IO) Learning & Development team. You will provide thought leadership and Learning & Development (L&D) expertise to our IO business groups on a broad range of initiatives.  We are seeking a qualified candidate to consult with the business, design learning solutions, manage projects, and measure learning and training effectiveness. You will conduct research on industry best practices and maintain current knowledge on learning trends and technologies to ensure high quality deliverables and effective solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with senior leaders, business groups, and HR to diagnose and develop learning plans and curriculums with comprehensive audience analysis, course outline, learning solution design, and delivery method
  • Ensure a holistic approach to learning and developing solutions based on identified training and non-training solutions (e.g. eLearning, micro-learning, webinars, videos, performance support tools, etc.)
  • Work with L&D platforms and tools including learning experience platform, learning management system, eLearning development tools, and other technologies as needed
  • Lead and/or participate in tactical and/or strategic projects within area or across business groups to meet established objectives and deadlines
  • Communicate with appropriate groups on progress, potential risks, and impacts
  • Develop and track metrics that provide insights and analytics into the overall effectiveness of curriculum.
  • Manage curriculum to lead audit and update of content on an ongoing basis to ensure learning resources are current, effective, and meet business needs

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of L&D experience with strong working knowledge of instructional design for both instructor-led and self-guided learning and demonstrated experience in learning experience design techniques
  • Experience in designing complex learning curriculums
  • Demonstrated in-depth knowledge of instructional design, adult learning practices and eLearning development tools
  • Effective facilitation, diagnostic and consultative skills; proactively anticipates the needs of client groups
  • Strong graphic design skills, able to create visualizations from data and processes
  • Proficiency using tools such as Articulate Storyline, Articulate Rise, Camtasia, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Premiere and/or VideoScribe
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master’s in Educational Technology or related is preferred
  • Experience with learning experience platform (e.g. EdCast, Degreed) preferred but not required
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL preferred but not required
