This role plays a pivotal part in helping Capital Group deliver on this priority, improving the way we work through Business Process Management (BPM) as an established practice and strategy to accelerate transformation.

The Operational Excellence Senior Analyst (BPM focused) role is an exciting and newly created opportunity fit for purpose at Capital Group. In this role, youll guide the organization to realize its vision of a sustainable process ownership culture. This includes driving foundational efforts to effectively capture and express how work gets done today, as well as defining and growing the long-term capability and strategy that translates baseline process knowledge to a continual improvement in agility and operational performance outcomes.

Together with the Operational Excellence (BPM) Lead, you will operate alongside the broader OpEx team, where creativity and passion for improvement meets process and performance management. You should be an agile learner, actively developing both your own knowledge and your teams on essential concepts such as process metrics and methodologies, business and technology drivers of BPM, process governance and digital transformation. You will be required to understand how these concepts relate to many key stakeholders spheres of activity.You will also play a key role in educating the business and varying audience types on the value proposition of BPM and its enablement of business objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Supports the business through several stages of deployment for new cloud-based process management solution, inclusive of visual process-mapping, risk, incident, and global variations management capabilities. Support the business from a neatly scoped incubation phase through to a fully operationalized state across all departments.
  • Play the BPM technology (promapp) product owner role, includes:
    • Facilitation of training and conversion support for existing artifacts
    • Management of promapp user and security structure
    • End user support and liaison with Nintex for all vendor needs
  • Help develop and operationalize BPM measurement and reporting mechanisms, ensuring capability and business operations is effectively positioned to extract and leverage key data insights
  • Help develop ongoing communication and change leadership strategy, collaborating with OpEx and Business Leaders to set the tone and steward a process ownership culture
  • Promote a process ownership culture for IO; regularly and enthusiastically engage key audiences to build awareness of capability, benefits and outcomes

Qualifications:

  • Understanding of Business Process Management concepts, including completion of and/or commitment to pursuing a professional certification in BPM
  • Competency with business process analysis and continuous improvement
  • Data citizenship and experience with CG desktop automation tools (Tableau, Alteryx, Power BI) a strong plus.
  • Be creative, flexible, comfortable with ambiguity, driven to succeed and committed to continuous learning and personal evolution
