Costar Group is seeking a highly motivated individual to be a Senior Data Analyst in our Atlanta, Georgia office. You will be part of a skilled operations team working alongside other departments (Research, Client Services, and Product Development). Using stand-alone and Intranet-based applications, tools and utilities, you will provision inbound and outbound data based on requirements.

This position requires an attentiveness to detail and a commitment to quality. You will troubleshoot performance, scheduling and data issues on new and existing jobs, conduct monthly audit analysis and explore improvement opportunities to the existing infrastructure, technology, and processes. This is a great position for a self-motivated out of the box thinker.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and foster relationships through education and support of data feed processes;
• Responsible for making decisions to resolve client data problems quickly and efficiently;
• Lead Data Analyst is responsible for end to end data feed task management;
• Responsible for ensuring standard of excellence with regards to content;
• Lead Data Analyst will collaborate between teams and participate in refining processes with managers and/or engineering teams;
• Statistical reporting and generation of client metrics;
• Maintaining data processing schedules and troubleshooting issues;

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Highly proficient with 3-5 years of experience with data mapping and import/export operations. Microsoft SQL Server Reporting, Business Intelligence, Source Control (TFS), a plus
• Solid T-SQL query skills.
• Ability to understand a schema and interact with data from highly normalized databases.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills for troubleshooting and creating innovative applications.
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task while being a self-starting, team player.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent customer service abilities.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaborating with management and other teams.
