As a Sr. Digital Analytics Consultant based in Irvine, you will play a key role on the Digital Analytics team to deliver analysis and insights on Capital Group's websites, mobile apps and digital features.  You will consult with internal and external clients to provide quantitatively-driven strategies and recommendations that improve measurement and reporting on digital assets.  You will serve as a subject matter expert on digital analytics tracking, implementation and reporting. You will play a key role in within larger Digital Analytics team serving as a subject matter expert and collaborating with management to set key measurement strategy.

Analysis and Reporting
•    Track, measure and analyze website and application trends
•    Gather, organize and analyze data (structured/unstructured) to inform strategy, formulate insights and make actionable recommendations
•    Design and build reports using tools like Adobe Analytics, Tableau, etc.
•    Automating and delivering reoccurring reports
•    Provide real time reporting and monitoring of anomalies in web performance
•    Provide support in development of leadership presentations

Severs as a subject matter expert for the team
•    Writes requirements for measurement framework for new digital assets (landing pages, mobile applications, etc.)
•    Identifies defects in tagging and implementation, and works with IT to solution on the problem
•    Validates all tagging implementations
•    Maintains an understanding of industry best practices for tagging, implementation, execution and measurement
•    Familiarity with the digital data requirements with Multi-touch attribution and media mix modeling

Business Process Optimization
•    Identify new and harness current marketing technologies to improve overall digital analytics operations
•    Cross functionally collaborate with IT, Marketing Pods and Digital Channel Stakeholders
•    Train stakeholders and other team members on new technologies to enable self-service

Strategy and Development
•    Partners with Digital Analytics team and stakeholders to provide direction on measurement, reporting and implementation for new initiatives
•    Mentors junior team members
•    Provides supports on designing and implementing trainings for team members and internal clients


Qualifications:
•    5+ years of relevant experience (not necessarily within Finance) with the ability to motivate, inspire and achieve goals.
•    Demonstrated experience delivering actionable insight for a consumer business.
•    Excellent problem-solving skills along with the ability to find creative solutions for challenges regarding campaigns and communication of results.
•    Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment. Independently identify and set priorities in rapidly changing and ambiguous environment.
•    Exceptional knowledge of SEO and SEM best practices, digital marketing tools (Adobe Analytics, Adobe Audience Manager, other DMPs, etc) and channels.
•    Advanced ETL and SQL writing skills required.
•    Proficiency in at least one statistical analysis tool such as R or Python.
•    Familiarity with Media Mix Modeling and Multi-Channel Attribution modeling and optimization framework
•    Expert in dash boarding tools (e.g. Tableau) and advanced experience in Excel.
•    Superior written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to influence cross-functional teams
•    BA/BSc degree in Business / Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Science / Analytics / Econometrics required, Master degree preferred
