Position Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

•Manage transactional support team of 6-8 people, assist in various group tasks as needed.
•Understand, manage and improve transaction-related processes.
•Assist in transaction closings and documentation for PIMCO's alternative funds
•Assist in preparing regulatory filings, including fund registration statements
•Process transaction, fund formation and entity related certificates, engagement letters, forms and other related documentation
•Coordinate responses to various information requests, including regulatory and client requests
•Preparation and organization of board materials
•Production of documents related to account openings in different jurisdictions
•Maintain records and databases of regulatory and legal matters
•Assist with compliance related chaperon tasks, logs, lists and trackers
•Assist with miscellaneous special projects as they are assigned
•Attend various committee meetings and prepare meeting minutes
•Effectively liaise with various relevant departments and groups including portfolio management, legal, compliance, finance, operations and outside counsel
•Miscellaneous tasks including timesheet review, track document volume, and ensuring adequate desk coverage

Position Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS

•Bachelor's Degree (required)
•Paralegal Certificate (preferred)
•JD (preferred)
•At least 5 years of law firm/in-house legal or paralegal experience
•Very detailed oriented
•Very strong interpersonal skills
•Team player
•Ability to multi-task
•Possess exceptional oral, written and organizational skills
•Must be able to work independently on complex tasks
•Possess the ability and comfort to interact with all levels of management
•Intermediate knowledge of MS Word and Excel desired
