Private Bank & Wealth Advisory Intern
SVB's Private Bank works with clients in the innovation sector, including general partner of venture and private equity firms, the founders of the private companies in which they invest, and the C suite of publicly traded companies. The Private Bank and Wealth Advisory intern will support several key client service and sales initiatives and participate in a wide range of projects to gain experience in a sophisticated fast moving private bank and wealth advisory service team.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • General
    • Data entry (Populating credit apps, loan submission docs, etc)
    • CRM management (data integrity project)
    • Pipeline management
    • Prospective client profile management
  • Lending/Banking
    • CRM opportunity submissions
    • Scrub financial packages
  • Wealth
    • New acct request submissions
    • Pitchbook creation
    • Portfolio rebalance
    • Portfolio analysis (review risk class, benchmark, cash balance)
    • Trade sheet submissions
    • Tax analysis


Qualifications

  • Candidates must be students currently enrolled in a college/university or recent graduates

  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately when meeting deadlines

  • Seeking the following Majors: economics, business, finance

  • Must be self-disciplined to meet project/task deadlines without constant reminders

  • Candidates must have strong analytical and computer skills (MS - Excel, Power Point, Word)

  • Candidates must be open to working on a variety of projects and tasks

  • Must work well within a team environment and have a positive attitude

  • Demonstrate strong organizational and detailed oriented skills

  • Excellent communication skills (listening/verbal/written)

  • Demonstrate leadership experience through work/school related activities
