As creative services project manager and graphics designer, the Financial Publishing Specialist is responsible for managing the production of marketing materials for client presentations and corporate communication materials. This includes presentation books, standard monthly reports for external audiences, product strategy overview documents, white papers, factsheets, and other TCW related corporate communications and marketing material.

Position Summary:

As creative services project manager and graphics designer, the Financial Publishing Specialist is responsible for managing the production of marketing materials for client presentations and corporate communication materials. This includes presentation books, standard monthly reports for external audiences, product strategy overview documents, white papers, factsheets, and other TCW related corporate communications and marketing material. 

The Financial Publishing Specialist will independently determine presentation formats required from sales channels and portfolio management teams to manage the creative services/production of marketing materials, client and prospect meetings and TCW road shows.  In addition, this position is responsible for gathering and verifying strategy fund data required in materials with portfolio teams.   The incumbent will also develop creative design solutions that best reflect the client’s strategic objectives and ensure that materials (printed and electronic) uphold product specific compliance rules and regulations, as well as the TCW corporate brand. The incumbent should develop solid knowledge of the organization’s products and will work independently on projects of moderate complexity. 

Essential Duties:

  • Manage production and development of communication and marketing materials used for client prospects or existing client presentations with the input from various TCW portfolio management teams and sales staff. Prioritize project deliverables internally within Communications group and internal clients.
  • Gather and verify performance data from various sources or coordinate the collection of data with several of TCW’s portfolio management teams to implement current strategy data, analysis and information into client materials.
  • Utilize various computer graphics systems and software to produce marketing ((printed and electronic) materials. Ensure printed and electronic materials uphold product specific compliance rules and regulations.
  • Ensure marketing materials are compliant with current TCW corporate branding principles and TCW policy.
  • Handle special projects such as advertisements and targeted promotional materials for marketing teams and portfolio management groups.
  • Participate in the annual review process with Legal and Compliance departments.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design/marketing/communications or related field
  • Five years of related work experience in a marketing or production role
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
  • Highly competent in graphics software and general design background
  • Proficient in computer graphics systems, specifically the Macintosh platform of graphics, including Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, PDF Pro, and DeltaGraph as well as Microsoft Office Suite software.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Client/Project material assembly and finishing skills and techniques
  • Project Management experience a plus
  • Financial background a plus
