About the Position

Efficient Market Advisors, a division of Cantor Fitzgerald Investment Advisors is seeking an Operations Specialist to provide exceptional client service to our financial advisors, clients and vendors. Advanced Microsoft Office skills, attention to detail and follow-up skills are critical to this position as are intellectual curiosity, a sense of urgency and a desire for continual improvement to processes, performance and business knowledge. Responsibilities

  • Process new account paperwork
  •  Enter and maintain client information in online database program
  • Professionally correspond via phone, email, letters, faxes, forms etc. with financial advisors, clients and vendors regarding required documentation for opening new accounts, closing existing accounts and managing financial transactions
  •  Schedule and coordinate conference calls and meetings
  • Assist in the preparation of reports and mailing lists
  • Scan and file documents; Maintain electronic filing system
  • Ability to communicate and escalate to management when issues arise
  • Adhere to all applicable policies and procedures
  • Perform duties of Administrative Assistant as needed
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree and a minimum one year experience in a similar position
  •  Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize projects based on business needs
  • Attention to detail and problem solving skills
  • Impeccable follow-up skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Consistency in performing routine tasks
  • Willingness and ability to take on special projects and additional responsibilities as requested

Preferred

  •  Experience using Salesforce or other customer relationship management software
  • Experience in investment management or financial services
