Help shape Grant Thornton’s new Pursuit Center of Excellence team!
Position: Pursuit Center of Excellence - PCOE Senior Associate
As part of the marketing organization, the national proposal center of excellence (theStudio) is shifting to become the Pursuit Center of Excellence (PCOE). As such, the team is expanding to enable the development and delivery of sales support materials and credentials, enhancing client touch-points throughout the buyer journey. The PCOE is hiring a Senior Associate, who will report to the PCOE leader, and will own the production of custom sales materials in support of Grant Thornton’s pursuit process. The PCOE Senior Associate will own and project manage sales deliverables as well as proposals, and will primarily play a key role as a “closer” finalizing sales deliverables and proposals started by their PCOE team members in Bangalore. With a large number of the PCOE’s team members located in Bangalore, the PCOE Senior Associate will be available during U.S. business hours to finalize deliverables after our Bangalore colleagues work day has ended. This individual will be required to work west coast hours, enabling the PCOE team to offer coverage for pursuit related needs during all U.S. working business hours.
While the position will have a heavy focus on finalizing pursuit deliverables begun by the Bangalore team, the PCOE Senior Associate will also own and manage their own sales material and proposal deliverables, and assist with content projects as well. It is important the PCOE Senior Associate has the skillset and eagerness to flex across all areas of the PCOE (pre-proposal deliverables, proposal deliverables and content creation).
This is an exciting opportunity to join the PCOE team in the early stages of development, and help shape this resource center into a world-class, highly valued function within Grant Thornton, building upon the remarkable success of theStudio.
Location: U.S. cities with a Grant Thornton office, located in CST, MST and PST time zones
Are you a match?
You catch the details – You aren’t one of those people who sees one question in an email, but misses the other two. You check your list. In fact, you check it twice. You are “all over it” – You self-start. Even if you can’t do something right away, you email the person to let them know you’ll be on it very soon. You kill it with stellar communication and a well-thought out plan. You think global – You are fascinated by other cultures, foods and traditions. You love teaming globally and see the value in an outsourced model. You sometimes wish you had studied design – You’re so good at formatting, you do it mindlessly without realizing it. Inconsistency makes your skin crawl. You love whitespace. And… you use your superpowers to deliver messages visually. After all, a picture says a thousand words, so why use the words? Word and PPT are your friend – You know all the ins and outs and lovingly work around every glitch. You are an adrenaline junkie – Pressure? That only makes you focus better. You think two minds are better than one – While you take pride and ownership of your work, you love it when collaboration improves the end result. You are endlessly curious – Don’t know something? You Google it. Meet someone in a completely foreign profession? You ask questions until you know every aspect of what it’s like. Your ultimate research topic? Developing skills to live to your fullest potential. You are extremely resourceful – You believe answers are just lying in wait and so you look under every proverbial rock.
