Responsibilities

The Administrator will support Oaktrees equity team in administering and maintaining the company's new deferred compensation program.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Ensures deferred compensation awards are administered in accordance with the terms and conditions of the legal agreements, comply with country specific provisions and internal processes and procedures;
  • Responds to deferred compensation related inquiries and coordinates the dissemination of information to various groups internally and externally;
  • Manages the integrity of all deferred compensation data and maintains and updates plan documents and databases and assists with system upgrades;
  • Prepares daily and periodic reports including vesting schedules and all grant reports for various departments;
  • Sets up new employee accounts, processes deferred compensation option exercises, lapses, terminations and off-cycle grant awards;
  • Performs all deferred compensation plan related audits and assists with Sarbanes Oxley compliance and testing;
  • Prepares information and reports regarding executive compensation for inclusion in proxy statement and annual report;
  • Supports the deferred compensation team and executes and implements all related tasks and activities for global plans and initiatives;
  • Assists in initiatives and projects by preparing presentations, reports and analysis;
  • Provides comprehensive advice for the roll out of new or revised plans and initiatives;
  • Leads in managing smaller projects or reviews;
  • Builds effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure high-quality process and quick resolution to issues; and
  • Performs other tasks and projects as necessary.


Qualifications

  • Proven ability to manage tasks with competing priorities and deadlines, independently determining order of priority and self-initiating other value-added tasks; and
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

Education

A Bachelors degree, with an emphasis in finance and/or accounting. A Masters degree is a plus.
