Based in downtown Los Angeles, this role will provide administrative support to the Head of Fund Accounting & Operations who oversees Fund Accounting, Operations, Valuations and Accounts Payable at Oaktree. The Administrative Assistant will interface with various groups across the firm including investment professionals, marketing operations / client services, support services, corporate accounting, investor reporting, and others.

Responsibilities include:

  • Administration
    • Answering, screening and managing incoming phone calls and mail;
    • Managing complex calendars and scheduling requirements;
    • Reviewing, preparing and managing expense reports;
    • Prepare, track and process invoices
    • Tracking Fund Accounting & Operations staff changes and updating team organizational charts;
    • Travel coordination
    • Assist in coordinating and scheduling interviews, meet and greet candidates, etc.
    • Participating in planning and setting up of events and meetings
    • Maintaining and distributing various status tracking reports; and
    • Performing other administrative tasks as required.
  • Operational
    • Support the budget process for Fund Accounting & Operations
    • Facilitate the tracking of progress against organizational goals; and
    • Drafting correspondence and memos, and assisting in preparing presentations.


  • Minimum 4 years experience supporting accounting executives within a financial services firm is preferred;
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft office application including Word, PowerPoint and Outlook; and
  • Proven ability to manage tasks with competing priorities and deadlines, independently determining order of priority and self-initiating other value-added tasks.

Bachelors degree is preferred.
