The Challenge:

As a lead DevSecOps engineer on our team, youll use your development experience to streamline our software development lifecycle from requirements to monitoring in production, scaling: e.g. across the space program, across multiple teams, etc. Youll lead efforts to incorporate open source tools, automation, and cloud resources to cut down on tedious, boring tasks and free up the teams developers to do what they do best innovate. Youll implement continuous integration and delivery to limit manual testing and troubleshooting. This is an opportunity to broaden your skillset into areas like automation, AWS, Kubernetes, Microservices and exposure to other CI/CD tools commercial and open source while leading software development efforts to improve national security. As a technical leader, youll identify new opportunities to build software solutions to help your customers meet their toughest challenges. You Have:

• 4+ years of experience as a DevSecOps engineer working with Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and software development teams
• Experience with Cloud Infrastructures, including Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Experience with container-based technologies, including Docker and Kubernetes for deploying applications in the cloud
• Experience with Git-based source control repositories, pipelines, including GitLab CI, and DevSecOps open source tool sets
• Knowledge of microservice and database architectures servicing applications across a multi-region deployment
• Ability to interpret customer needs, work with the team to develop product backlogs, and provide technical feedback to the team
• Ability to obtain a security clearance
• BA or BS degree in CS

Nice If You Have:

• Experience with space-related ground systems and applications
• Experience with the DoD and awareness of operational missions
• Experience with managing private and public Cloud deployments of applications
• Experience with CI/CD tools, including Jenkins, Concourse, Artifactory, and Vagrant
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, including Ansible, Puppet, Cloud Formation, and Terraform
• Experience with managing Cloud infrastructures, including Azure
• Experience with VMWare or Pivotal Container based products, including Pivotal Container Service or Tanzu Kubernetes Grid Integrated
• Experience with integrating an Identity and Access Management (IdAM) solution into infrastructure and Web applications
• Knowledge of system and network architecture
• TS/SCI clearance
