You will be involved in support and development activities in a highly collaborative team.

This is a new position created to service the Quark Marketing Content Management Platform in the Dublin, CA office. The platform is niche and the goal is to build and sustain this competency to service the business in document generation, publishing, content management capabilities.

Use your experience in Quark Marketing Content Management Platform Cloud based solutions, integration technologies, DB / SQL technologies, Microsoft .NET and related technologies, J2EE related technologies in this highly collaborative role.


  • Maintain and Develop Using Quark SDK, Java / J2EE / JavaScript /FTL , .NET , MS SQL
  • Provide meaningful template design solution ideas
  • Provide meaningful integration architecture ideas
  • Providing Quark Layout Design Ideas and work on Implementation / Build
  • Monitoring Operating Systems and work with infrastructure teams appropriately
  • Adhere to standards for coding, branding , security and architecture
  • Understand and apply appropriate formatting / configurations
  • Provide Estimates and timelines to support the requirements
  • Manage the promotion / release process
  • Define and manage access control and security aspects
  • Do Code Review
  • Help drive solutions by making recommendations based on business requirements
  • Understand integration system - data services on Composite, Teamsite, Print Ops, Media Bin, Control M / Axway
  • Respond promptly to emergency contacts by operations staff on a 24/7 basic

Skills and Abilities
  • Knowledge in Quark SDK / Quark Publishing Platform desired
  • Willingness to learn new technologies that come up in the domain from time to time
  • Nice to have experience with content management solutions and/or software package integration into an enterprise environment
  • Ability to use and develop on SQL Server Database or any relational Database
  • Exposure to Microsoft .NET and related technologies
  • Have a wide exposure to software development and support
  • Knowledge in build and support of cloud based solutions
  • Ability to use and develop on SQL Server Database or any relational Database
  • Ability to adapt to constantly changing technology landscape
  • Ability to participate in agile delivery environments
  • Ability to work with various teams and play roles based on application needs
  • Experience in technology Operations
  • Ability to work flexible schedules and available 24/7 for operations
  • Willingness to work to be available to collaborate in timezones
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks and judge priorities within the constraints provided.
  • Must be willing to adapt to constantly changing technology landscape and related roles
Education and Experience
  • More than 3 years broader experience across software systems preferred
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
