Space Solar Technologies LLC is seeking an experienced and strategic Financial Managing Director to oversee the company's financial operations and provide leadership across accounting, financial management, budgeting, reporting, and long-term financial planning.

The Financial Managing Director will be responsible for managing the company's financial resources, maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing accounting activities, monitoring cash flow, preparing financial reports, managing budgets, and ensuring strong financial controls and procedures.

This is a senior leadership position working closely with executive management to support financial decision-making, improve financial performance, manage risk, and develop strategies that support the company's continued growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the company's day-to-day financial and accounting operations.

• Maintain accurate and organized financial records, books, and documentation.

• Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, invoicing, expenses, and general ledger activities.

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.

• Develop and oversee annual budgets, financial forecasts, and long-term financial plans.

• Monitor cash flow, revenue, expenses, assets, liabilities, and overall financial performance.

• Manage banking relationships, cash management, liquidity, and financial accounts.

• Establish and maintain effective internal financial controls and accounting procedures.

• Analyze financial results and provide executive management with recommendations for improving profitability and efficiency.

• Monitor expenses and identify opportunities to improve financial performance and reduce unnecessary costs.

• Coordinate with external accountants, auditors, tax professionals, financial institutions, and advisors.

• Ensure financial records and reporting comply with applicable accounting standards and regulations.

• Oversee financial systems, accounting software, reporting tools, and financial processes.

• Lead and develop finance and accounting personnel as the organization grows.

• Support executive management with strategic financial decisions, investments, expansion plans, and major business initiatives.

• Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive financial and corporate information.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Master's degree, MBA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent certification is preferred.

• 8–10+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, financial management, or a related field.

• Previous experience in a senior finance, accounting, Controller, or financial management role.

• Strong knowledge of corporate accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management.

• Experience managing financial records, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.

• Proficiency with accounting and ERP systems such as QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar platforms.

• Strong Microsoft Excel and financial analysis skills.

• Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.

• High level of integrity, accuracy, and discretion when handling financial information.
