Sr. HR Risk Management Manager

The Senior Manager will be part of an HR Risk Management team that works closely with the HR specialty groups and multiple functions within the company including Legal, Enterprise Risk Management and Corporate Compliance to accomplish these goals.

Responsibilities include:
• Development, execution and management of a HR SOX control governance program;
• The development, execution and management of an HR risk and compliance framework and procedures;
• The development and execution of a robust controls program;
• Risk identification, assessment and remediation program for self- identified, internal and external issues;
• Providing consulting support to specialty groups to ensure that sound processes and controls are in place for managing compliance and reducing risk;
• Managing the audit process including coordination between functions and groups internally and externally. Oversee the follow up and remediation on findings/recommendations from audits. Report back for continual education and improvement;
• Provide HR insight, feedback and lead HR risk mitigating activities to respond to trends and developments;
• Oversee the maintenance of any compliance-specific records. Generate ad hoc reports as needed and develop standard reports, Key Risk Indicators, and management information;
• Ensure ongoing education and training of HR and internal business partners on domestic and global risk and compliance related topics;
• Manage and/or support other HR special projects and initiatives as needed.

Qualifications

• 6 - 8 years expereince. A HR or IT background is preffred, with a risk/compliance focus. Experience including experience handling internal and external audits, agency responses, management controls)
• SOX experience strongly preferred (with a systems focus)
• Ability to form and run projects end to end
• Works effectively with internal and external contacts
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and highly developed presentation skills. Able to influence at all levels
• Strong analytical skills including reasoning, problem solving
• Experience with large amounts of data and developing audit reports, metrics and reporting vehicles
• Must be able to troubleshoot complex issues independently and/or escalate when necessary with accountability and sound professional judgment
• Highly organized and able to handle multiple simultaneous tasks and projects with competing priorities. Has the ability to shift gears as necessary
