Sourcing and Procurement Intern
Acts as the central operations hub overseeing internal Sourcing operations in order to keep program running from a tactical perspective:
Review of Purchase Requests for potential for competitive events, benchmark, or targeted pricing negotiation exercises
Route and assign all Purchase Requests to the appropriate Sourcing Manager in a timely fashion, in order to support quick actions be taken
Ensure all relevant data is entered into the Procurement system of record, generate project status reports, and conduct weekly project status updates.
Provide adhoc reporting to senior level management, in order to foster engagement and provide spend analytics and recommendations for sourcing activities.
Gather and monitor bank and industry trends to identify relevant economic and business factors and analyze data on a project based as well as overall program basis for reporting purposes (E.g. project status, escalations, program spend trends). This information is intended to help the business understand how they compare with their peers in the market and advise alignment (or not).
Assist our Business customers in navigating the SVB procurement process
Assist in negotiating commercial terms for new and renewing contracts Qualifications
Candidates must be students currently enrolled in a college/university (Minimum Requirement)
Candidate should have a minimum GPA of 3.0
Seeking the following Majors: Prefer Supply Chain Management or similar field
Preferred candidates should have work or academic experience with the following: Related industry experience (Supply Chain Management, Sourcing, Procurement Operations)
