Product Analyst s provide ongoing analytical insights into the performance and trends of the business , and they identify relevant risks, opportunities and related actions, supported by both quantitative and qualitative data . Product Analyst s manage analysis with rigor, efficiency , and effectiveness , as well as lead the analysis process lifecycle for product development and planning . Product Analysts will work in a collaborative, cross-functional environment, in close partnership with business leaders, product managers, data analysts, engineers and more. Effective Product Analysts are dynamic and engaging, able to build relationships across multiple dimensions, and have deep analytical acumen .

Responsibilities include:


  • Delivering regular product performance reporting via Excel, Tableau, Power P oint and other reporting tools

  • Identifying, baselining , and tracking product and business KPIs

  • Conducting analytical deep dives to better understand performance trends and delivering data-driven, actionable insights to product and business leaders

  • Bringing together rigorous data analysis with industry and market trends to identify risks and opportunities for products and SVB

  • Distilling complex analysis into easily understandable stories for leadership and partner teams



  • Adopting a mindset of continuous improvement, with a bias to quick action and constant learning


Qualifications




  • Bachelor's degree in a math, business, engineering or related field required, MBA preferred

  • Minimum 2 years professional experience in a strategic, financial or analytical role

  • Knowledge and experience in digital (website/marketing/product) analytics, business , and financial products preferred

  • Experience researching and analyzing rising market opportunities and trends, including internal and external data indicators to recommend product solutions to executive leaders

  • Demonstrated experience building complex data models and leveraging analytics and presentation software to communicate key insights



  • Hands on experience with large data extraction and aggregation using SQL or similar tools

  • Ability to create data visualizations with business intelligence tools, i.e. Tableau

  • Strong strategic, analytical and critical thinking skills; ability to break down complex problems and formulate plans

  • Knowledge of emerging analytics, insights and data management technologies and methodologies, and their relevance to our products and strategy

  • Results driven and execution oriented



  • Builds relationships and communicates clearly

  • Understanding of digital banking services preferred
