You will join a Training team across continents reporting to the Head of Training, Talent and Communication. You will represent the Department in prioritising requirements where regulations require new content to be written and delivered . You will work closely with the DC and SIPP process trainers, Product Technical team and Quality functions and wider business stakeholders and will be expected to develop and maintain a very high level of personal understanding of regulation.

Department Overview

The main role of the Training Team is to ensure that both the Pension and Personal Investing Operations teams follow established procedures and legal requirements so that consistent and good customer outcomes are achieved for customers and clients of Fidelity's businesses.

Your Role

  • Research and recommend continuous improvements to new and existing delivery to ensure full business benefits are realised based on alignment with business plans, delegate feedback, effective reviews of MI and evaluation (including business impact assessments)
  • Act as a learning partner to process owners, Quality team and Product Technical teams to leverage potential opportunities for training intervention and then partner with key stakeholders to design content in the most appropriate way to ensure sustainable upskilling outcome
  • Collaborate with Product technical teams to ensure future Regulatory changes are planned and interventions delivered on time
  • Ensure all training is delivered in a professional and compliant manner and work with Client Service teams to ensure delivery consistent with their approaches
  • Drive and support the business to further embed a 'self service' culture for learning using digital content wherever possible
  • Keeping up-to-date with continuous improvement the latest trends, innovations, and best practice in learning
  • Ensure training records are maintained and kept up to date leveraging tools to do this in the most efficient way
  • Maintain records of training hours delivered and ensure measures of success clearly defined, targeted and outcomes communicated

Experience and Qualifications

  • A passion for learning
  • Excellent knowledge of SIPP and DC Pensions Administration
  • Excellent knowledge of HMRC, FCA and TPR rules which govern pensions
  • Well developed communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Accuracy and attention to detail are essential, with strong analytical skills and ability to identify potential risks, question internal processes and guide improvement
  • Self-starter, demonstrating a good use of initiative and ability to work independently
  • Strong time management, prioritisation and organisational skills
  • Ability to complete multiple tasks against tight deadlines is paramount for this role
  • Flexible and adaptable, responds rapidly to changing agendas
  • Training experience on a one-to-one or small group basis would be desirable
  • Decision maker - problem solving and solution orientated
  • CF1 & FA2 or equivalent are mandatory, RO4 or equivalent and above are desirable
