Fantastic New Permanent role, Morgan McKinley's team are recruiting a Digital Content Strategy Manager, this exciting Full Time opportunity will be working with our client in Surrey.

Morgan McKinley's Office Support team are recruiting for a Permanent Digital Content Strategy Manager position to work with our client based in Surrey. This is a global role. The main purpose To be responsible for planning, developing, and managing engaging content for different digital channels, proofreading, and editing written content before publishing, as well as creating style guides for the wider team.#

Salary: Competitive

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Collaborate with Global Communications team to put together digital content strategies across all online platforms
  • Proof read and edit written pieces before publication, review, and update published content as needed
  • Manage editorial calendars and schedule social media posts to best support business strategy through content
  • Coordinate with marketing and design teams to create different formats of content for different channels
  • Monitor web traffic and engagement (e.g. conversions and bounce rates) and keyword and SEO trends

KEY SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE NEEDED:
  • 7+ years proven experience in developing content strategy and governance
  • A highly analytical thinker with an audience-first mindset
  • Excellent writing skills, proven work experience as a Content Manager or Content Strategist
  • Good knowledge of intranet governance and web standards
  • Hands-on experience with SharePoint and other web content management systems
  • Basic technical knowledge of HTML web publishing, SEO, and web traffic metrics
  • Familiarity with social media, especially using Yammer and LinkedIn
  • Background in writing and editing in B2C, either as a journalist or a copywriter
