Lead the Legal Entity Rationalisation project for Finance, to reduce the number of legal entities for the Group, working closely with the legal entity and tax teams in Finance, the Company Secretarial team, and BU operational and project teams

About the Role

  • Oversee the Legal Entity Rationalisation project, including overall project management responsibilities.
  • Organise and chair regular working group meetings with members of the Company Secretarial, Legal Entity, and Tax teams.
  • Maintain project plans, steps to be completed (and by who), and track progress to plan, driving delivery. 
  • Assist in the preparation to get the companies ready for liquidation, including drafting of financial statements, board papers, minutes, payment of dividends, capital reductions etc.
  • Maintain plans to reduce the number of bank accounts across the group. Assist in actions needed to close the accounts, driving delivery.
  • Provide regular updates to the CFO and Director of Finance on progress. Provide written updates to the Board Audit Committee and BU Committees as and when required.

About You

Qualifications required:

  • Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) with a minimum of 5 years PQE.

Knowledge, Skills & Experience:

  • Strong financial accounting experience.
  • Experience of preparing companies for liquidation.
  • Project management experience advantageous.
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and ability to present information confidently to senior stakeholders.
