What the Hiring Manager says

The successful candidate will be supporting this newly established small team within Finance, focused on delivering Finance change initiatives across the function, including central Finance, Capital, Treasury and Tax. The team has developed a Change Book of Work which needs to be delivered, the successful candidate will play a key role in the delivery of these initiatives.

The successful candidate will effectively support Finance teams in the planning, mobilisation and  delivery of initiatives within the Finance Change portfolio.

You will actively participate in the delivery of initiatives, supplementing Finance SME resources in implementation activities.

You will ensure plans are in place for change initiatives with associated budgetary requirement.

You will ensure interdependencies with other transformation initiatives, both within Finance and across other portfolios are clearly identified and proactively managed; similarly highlight any opportunities which could be applied more broadly.

You will ensure that risks to the successful delivery and achievement of outcomes are clearly identified, mitigating plans put in place and tracked on an ongoing basis.

The successful candidate will work with the Finance function and the Finance Risk team to ensure manual processes, including BDAs and mapping tables, have clear ownership; are robust, properly controlled and maintained; and best practice is being used.

You will ensure that Finance is appropriately engaged and consulted in Quilter change activities which may impact the end to end flow of data in to Finance systems and processes.

You will be a role model for the behaviours that are critical to the successful delivery of Quilter’s transformation objectives, including pro-activity, delivery and outcome orientated, outward (rather than internal) focus, driving for simplicity / avoiding bureaucracy and team work.

The successful candidate will support the effective and regular reporting of progress to the relevant Finance executives and the Group Finance Director.

The successful candidate will identify opportunities where external support may be beneficial to Finance/Quilter to maximise transformation outcomes or mitigate risk.

You will support the Group Finance Director on other initiatives that form part of the Transformation agenda, as needed.

You will have significant knowledge of and demonstrable experience in enabling delivery in complex stakeholder environments.
