We are looking for an emerging, ambitious Service Manager to work within our Identity & Trust teams on high profile digital solutions to identity, verification and authentication challenges that will change the entire government digital landscape.

As an IT Service Manager you'll be providing our Identity and Trust team with reporting, incident management, problem management, service level agreement (SLA) and operational level agreement (OLA) management and on call support.

At its core this role is about ensure that systems and services are operational. You'll be working within ITIL frameworks, so a strong understanding of ITIL fundamentals is important.

What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?

  • Investigating patterns and trends to resolve problems, including consulting specialists where required, to determine the appropriate remedy, implementation and preventative measures.
  • Understanding operational processes of running and maintaining product or service.
  • Successful delivery of high quality outcomes that meet the customers' needs and gives value for money.
  • Taking a positive, open approach to the possibility of change and encouraging others to do the same, in looking for ways to use technology to achieve efficient and effective results.
  • Presenting strong recommendations in a timely manner outlining the consideration of other options, costs, benefits and risks.
