We're hiring! You'll join our Identity and Trust Team in DWP Digital and will be based in Sheffield and work in a hybrid way; part home and part office. If you answer yes to 66.67% of the below then go ahead and apply.

  • Can supervise IT service teams who support and maintain large scale IT infrastructure
  • Able to collaborate with business teams to understand service level agreements and communicate the same to team members
  • Adept at reporting, incident management, problem management, service level agreement and operational level agreement management
  • Are driven to deliver for users, and happy to join an on call rota to ensure great service.

You'll join our Identity and Trust Digital Team and deliver on identity strategy and the associated digital services.

We're currently made up of four multi-disciplinary development squad's, a dedicated DevOps team and a Service Management team, ID&T is a fairly new capability, established specifically to address the core Identity needs of the department and wider government.

You care about value and quality, whether managing an end-to-end technology solution, support service or user experience.

You'll make sure our IT Service teams are delivering to your high standards and that our stakeholders are happy.

You'll manage our people. You'll define and manage service level agreements (SLAs) and operational level agreements (OLAs). You'll own stakeholder relationships and make sure their feedback is built in to the way we work.

We're a huge organisation, and what we do is critical to millions of people. Here you'll commit to supporting Integration Services 24x7 and be expected to be on call on a rota basis.

What skills, knowledge and experience will you need?

  • You run a progressive and tight ship: You display detailed knowledge and understanding of Digital Products and Services. You then ensure colleagues and stakeholders have a clear understanding of objectives, activities and time-frames. Being the interface between Digital and third party suppliers, monitoring compliance against Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Operational Level Agreements (OLA), through regular performance reporting, monitoring service level infractions, trend and forecasting analyses and developing new SLAs and metrics to inform service demand and quality
  • You simply deliver: You have successfully delivered one or more products meeting a number of successful outcomes
  • You're a steady hand: Develop, implement, maintain and review systems and services to ensure delivery of professional excellence.
  • You can solve it like Sherlock: Investigates problems - analyse options for new and existing services. Then provide recommendations to solutions.
  • You're an effective communicator: you take and act upon challenge from stakeholders. Identifies key stakeholders and relationships and works with teams.
