We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Finance Manager, Telecommunication Services.

In this role, you will provide :

  • Financial analysis and management within Telecommunication Services for approx. $400m of annual spend across 65 countries, including:
    • Run the Bank (RtB) and Change the Bank (CtB)
    • Opex
    • Capex and assets
    • Accruals/Prepayments
    • Budgeting and forecasting
    • Cost Approvals
    • Rates setting
  • Analyse and summarise complex and diverse data, to provide recommendations to support executive decision making
  • Investigate and seek remedies for discrete financial issues which may be adversely affecting business unit performance
  • Support the TS Financial Lead in implementing and monitoring of internal financial governance processes and activities
  • Work closely with ITID TS Staff and other stakeholders across the global organisation

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Extensive financial management experience
  • Detailed understanding of the financial planning cycle, rate setting and cost management
  • Experience working with annual operating plans and multi-million dollar global programs and initiatives
  • Knowledge and understanding of the telecommunications landscape and industry
  • Experience of working in a global team
  • Working knowledge of accounting principles and practices (qualified or part qualified would be desirable)

The base location for this role is Sheffield.
