DWP. Digital with Purpose.
DWP is the UK's largest government department. We help people into work, and make payments worth over £195bn a year to support some of the most vulnerable people in our society.
We are looking for a Data Engineer to work with us on data-driven innovations that will affect the way that millions of UK citizens interact with DWP. You'll improve the user's experience of our services and via analysis and visualisation of complex data sets as we design and build self-service apps that better suit the evolving needs of society.
The DWP products and services we maintain and modernise will be used by nearly every person in the UK, at key moments in their lives. The scale of what we do is extraordinary, and our scale and purpose is unique. We'd love you to join us.
Delivery. Work. Projects.
Our Data Engineers work at the forefront of DWP's aspiration to innovate and modernise our services. We have a great opportunity for an MI/BI specialist to join our thriving Data community.
You'll be responsible for MI and BI reports and dashboards. You'll need experience with both, as well as being able to create automated data pipelines and rapid prototype production.
By gathering and analysing data from various sources and producing visualisations for actionable insights, you'll help us design and build self-service apps that really work for us and our users.
Your insight will drive better planning, better delivery, and greater efficiency across our teams. You'll give us the data, and the stories, we need to deliver against our extraordinary aims, and empower our leaders to make the right decisions.
If you believe good MI and BI can do that, and you want to do it at a scale and with a purpose unmatched anywhere else - click apply today.
