As our Head of Products and Propositions you would be responsible for the manufacture of products, to meet the financial planning needs of our Mass Affluent / Affluent target market and on-going monitoring to ensure regulatory compliance.
What you'll be doing
Your key responsibilities would include:
Management and monitoring of third party product distribution relationships. This will include the distribution agreement for Scottish Widows Products.
Pricing of manufactured products and commercial arrangements with third parties to ensure the proposition is competitive and is aligned with the broader financial plans of the business.
Using innovation techniques along with a deep insight into our existing and future client needs to develop new propositions and give SPW a competitor advantage in the market.
Taking an idea from thought to delivery and working in partnership with the Advice Process team to ensure that Advice and Product have appropriate connectivity.
Leading a small team which needs to agile in both thinking and delivery. The organisational structure of Schroder Personal Wealth is relatively flat so self-work is also key. The ability to create a collaborative, highly engaged team, led from the front that also drives talent and personal development are pre-requisites.
Your qualifications & experience
Proven experience in both Product Development and Management is a must for this role. This experience should ideally be in the arena of financial planning, including investments.
You'll need a high level of commercial acumen, and the ability to provide strategic and thought leadership in the arena of financial planning / investments to inform broad propositional and product development.
You will also have frequent exposure to the Schroder Personal Wealth executive leadership, so the ability to influence upwards as well as across the organisation are key attributes.
