Your role

As an Order to Cash SAP Functional Consultant, with a strong grasp of Time & Expense management your role will see you will be responsible for delivering improvements to the existing solution to meet new and/or evolving business and technological requirements. 

Activities include: scoping change requests; working directly with the business to perform detailed analysis of requirements; preparation and validation of solution designs; management of the delivery of technical components; integration and regression testing; co-ordination of user acceptance testing and change management activities in readiness for implementation.  In addition to providing 3rd tier business support and coaching of the 2nd tier support team.

This is an internal role (meaning that Deloitte themselves are the client) in a people centric business.

This is a challenging role and to succeed you need flexibility to communicate across different audiences as:

Senior management and technical teams
Project oriented teams and Service Oriented teams
Everyday system users

 

The role includes the following areas of responsibility:

  • Rotating through the process areas learning the functionality and procedures in each
  • Performing recurring tasks with a view to automating were appropriate
  • Unit and integration testing of developments
  • Specification and configuration of system enhancements to meet the business requirements
  • Actively participate in internal improvement activities for the area
  • Manage stakeholder’s expectations around SAP Functionality, promoting standardized solutions.
  • Responding to and resolving the 3rd tier support calls
  • Work effectively in diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognized for their contribution

 

Accountabilities

  • Reports to the team lead
  • Balancing the priorities of own workload to meet delivery schedules
  • Reporting progress and initiating escalation when required
  • Responding and resolving incidents raised in ServiceNow within the common guidelines for all of ITS services
  • Compliance with Deloitte standards, external regulatory and statutory requirements

Location:

The majority of the UK based team will be in Milton Keynes where you are expected to be present on a regular basis every week. As the HQ is based in London you may on some occasions be expected to travel to the London Office. Some amount of working from home is also possible but this will need to be flexible based on your assignments and agreed with your manager.

There are no expectations on regular International travel for this role but some travel to United States may be necessary on occasion. This is a full time position 7.5 hours a day and expected to be available from 9:00 up to 17:00 with some flexibility

 

Your professional experience

 

Essential:

  • Professional and confident
  • Have good written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and ideally experience with PowerPoint and Visio
  • SAP Experience of application support, development, test and release processes, ideally gained within a professional corporate environment perhaps as 3rd tier senior support analyst
  • Strong Experience of SAP configuration in Sales & Distribution and, ideally CATS and/or Travel ExpensesA Business or Computer science degree and relevant professional experience
  • A Business or Computer science degree and relevant professional experience

 

Desirable

  • Good Understanding of SAP FI/CO and Project Systems
  • S/4HANA experience
  • FIORI/Mobile Applications experience
