Infrastructure Project Manager- Manchester- Up to £58k You will be responsible for the successful delivery of one of more projects and associated responsibilities that meet programme and business needs. The projects will be geared around infrastructure, systems and cyber security. You will be working for a well known reputable organisation with a turn over of over £170 million annually. Their offices are based near major train stations in Manchester. They are currently undergoing a transformation programme and therefore there are lots of projects taking place at the moment.

You will be responsible for the successful delivery of one of more projects and associated responsibilities that meet programme and business needs. The projects will be geared around infrastructure, systems and cyber security.

You will be working for a well known reputable organisation with a turn over of over £170 million annually. Their offices are based near major train stations in Manchester. They are currently undergoing a transformation programme and therefore there are lots of projects taking place at the moment.

Who you are

  • You will have strong infrastructure experience working on systems and cyber security
  • You will have experience leading a team in line with best business practices
  • You will have excellent understanding of project methodologies Agile/Prince.
  • You will have proven skills in current infrastructure technologies and willing to maintain and develop your technical skills as new technologies emerge.

Who you'll be

  • Ensure the project outputs and outcomes are clearly articulated and all deadlines are met on time.
  • You will be the leader on key projects, including stakeholder risk, benefits and communications management
  • Plan effectively for the whole project lifecycle working efficiently with the service management and support teams to ensure smooth and effective migration from project to live running and ongoing support
  • Product core projects artefacts such as PIDs plans and business plans
  • Ensure the delivery of both the cost and benefits of the business case, taking responsibility for budget management and reporting for assigned projects.
