Director, Technical Lead (React)
Are you a passionate technologist? You enjoy building high quality and complex software solutions and helping technology teams delivering their full potential. You will contribute and make an impact towards designing, building and maintaining React-based solutions for the Private Markets division.
- Build, grow and manage teams of high performing engineers to focus on building out new innovative web-based solutions
- Liaise with senior technology partners and other development managers across the team to contribute to the technical strategy for the overall division
- Help continuously drive up code quality, organization and automation
You will be working as part of the Private Markets technology team distributed across multiple global locations and will have an opportunity to work with Private Markets specialists across the division. The role will involve working closely with product specialists, UX engineers and backend engineers across the group.
The team is part of the larger Private Markets technology team, composed of over 100+ engineers operating out of the EMEA, USA, Russia and India. All team members share a passion for technology and solving complex technical problems with focus on quality and high performance. Your expertise
It's a bonus if you also have
- Strong understanding and significant experience building modern highly performant web frontends using React or equivalent modern framework
- Experience in a leadership role, preferably managing a large team of engineers that include other management staff (a leader of leaders)
- Experience writing C#-based backends is a plus
- Solid understanding of cloud technology, preferably AWS
- A problem solver
- A good communicator
- A team player
