My client is an Asset Manager based in Central London. This role will involve direct interfacing with the Workplace Investing sales leads and working closely with a number of internal departments: Legal, Finance, Propositions, Administration and Communication & Education as well as with external Benefit Consultants and clients.

This role will involve direct interfacing with the Workplace Investing sales leads and working closely with a number of internal departments: Legal, Finance, Propositions, Administration and Communication & Education as well as with external Benefit Consultants and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of business proposals, questionnaire and survey responses for prospective clients and their consultant
  • Liaise with external benefit consultants and clients on new business opportunities
  • Preparation of Consultant 'panel' responses.
  • Support the existing client Relationship Director team with client rebid and retention proposals
  • Managing the client pitch process including detail client executive summaries and organising pitch team briefings
  • Preparation of sales briefs for Senior Management and Business Finance to evaluate new DC business opportunities.
  • Updating of industry and consultant databases to support the sales effort.
  • Production and distribution of internal 'client win' documents detailing new business appointments, starting the new account process.
  • Assisting in the maintenance of my client's proprietary databases to monitor and record sales prospects.
  • The ability to build and enhance relationships both internally and externally as this is an external facing as well as an internal facing role.
  • Production of ad-hoc marketing materials, client due diligence reports, presentation materials and data analysis for new business enquiries.

Experience & Qualifications Required

  • Strong communication skills - written and oral
  • Attention to detail
  • Numerate - ability to interpret and utilise statistical data
  • Ability to meet deadlines and use own initiative
  • An investigative and resourceful approach to problem solving
  • Ability to identify my client's differentiating/competitive features
  • Ability to build close working relationships with other departments
  • Team player
  • Relevant experience in RFP related roles preferred
  • Some knowledge of investment funds and products.
  • Computer literacy - excellent Excel, Word and general IT skills
  • Degree level preferred.
  • Relevant qualifications preferred though not essential.
  • Willing to undertake further study, if required
