The Global Marketing team partners with client-facing colleagues to drive marketing efforts that communicate the firm's investment capabilities, culture, and brand. We plan and execute marketing programs to position the firm's capabilities, culture and brand in the context of our client's business challenges, with the objective of retaining clients and growing our business.

The Website Product Owner is a new position within the Global Marketing team. This individual would be accountable for ensuring that it is easy for our clients, prospects, and consultant audiences to interact with us digitally via the web. This role will partner closely with our technology colleagues on the maintenance, management, and enhancement of our global websites.

As a global role in our digital center of excellence, the Website Product Owner will create and maintain our websites planned release program and drive the prioritization of initiatives and enhancements. The individual will collaborate with regional digital marketing leads and with our marketing partners globally to understand their business needs and ensure that our roadmap reflects those needs and prioritizes them appropriately. The role will also partner with groups outside of marketing (client service, HR, other) to ensure that their needs are also reflected in our websites roadmap.

The individual will be the primary resource to communicate, rollout and support training on new website features and capabilities and will work with our operations and technology partners to make sure that our 'operate the website' documentation and processes are kept up to date. This will involve partnering closely with other teams across marketing. The role will also lead governance functions related to our global websites and will collaborate with other teams across the Client Group on governance and coordination.

The role will also be the primary point of escalation for issue resolution, support coordination and vendor management. The role will also own and coordinate non-functional requirements, from accessibility, to performance, to tagging, to technical SEO, to privacy and information security. The individual will define reporting requirements and ensure that regular reporting is being provided to appropriate audiences.

Funds and thought leadership content are key components of our web experience, and this role will be very aware of the processes and capabilities required to keep this content and data up to date across our global web properties.

Lastly, and most importantly, the role will work closely across the Client Group to ensure that our clients, prospects and consultants (and other audiences) have a consistent, high quality experience (low in friction, high in value) across our website properties (marketing, servicing, other) and will help define and optimize core user journeys across the platform - in particular shared journeys across our global web properties.


Roadmap and Prioritization

•Maintain the web product roadmap (enhancements, features, etc.)

•Act as the Product Owner of the Web related agile teams (gather input from the regional teams, prioritize stories into PIs, run daily stand ups, sprint planning meetings, etc.)

•Work with business and UX teams to document requirements, identify solutions, etc.

•Apply a data driven approach to define, prioritise and validate the Product roadmap and backlog, using multiple data sources and customer insight (qualitative and quantitative) and to continuously drive improvements in the online user experience

Subject Matter Expertise & Operations

•Know how the CMS (and any integrations) work

•Make sure user documentation and process documentation is kept up to date

•Work with Technology on development best practices and deployment processes

•Work with Marketing on experience design and publishing best practices and processes

•Rollout and train users on new features/capabilities/integrations, and define and support self-service offerings

•Understand both backstage (hosting, CDN, infosec) and front stage (CMS, modules, templates, tagging, SEO) technology, teams and processes

•Understand the marketing and servicing web experiences and infrastructure and how the relate to each other

•Work with IT and QA teams to ensure that automated tests are up to date and capturing any issues


•Work with the regions to coordinate on cross experience enhancements and optimizations

•Ensure naming conventions are being followed etc.

•Work with Content COE and Design teams to make sure that templates, modules and components are documented and up to date

•Collaborate across teams to ensure standards are established and used across the platform (accessibility, SEO, analytics, performance etc.).

•Establish processes for new site launches, new feature launches, etc.

•Deep digital expertise coupled with relevant investment management (institutional, intermediary, wealth), or financial services experience
•Knowledge of the Agile methodology
•Experience with different digital marketing channels - web, email, search, social, syndication, digital events and digital advertising
•Experience with CMS platforms, Email Automation (Marketo, Marketing Cloud), Technical SEO, Accessibility and Mobile, Google Analytics, Tableau and Salesforce CRM
•Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
•Excellent time and project management skills
•Strong interpersonal and communications skills
•Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript desirable
•Naturally curious and highly proactive
