A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join ITV's Data Insight Group as a Web and Optimisation Analyst. ITV has huge and rapidly growing digital assets including the ITV Hub, one of the world's leading VOD services which is now available on multiple platforms and with over 28m registered users. We also have an impressive portfolio of apps and websites that also garner tens of millions of users, including websites where we derive direct consumer revenues and analytics and user journey understanding and optimisation is key.

We have an exciting opportunity for a Web and Optimisation Analyst to join a growing team. The role will be responsible for providing guidance/best practices on implementation to ensure we have tracking in place that can provide the data to drive insight and business decision making. As such you will also produce analysis and reporting as well as developing experimental frameworks, including multivariate testing.

ITV is the UK's largest commercial broadcaster with the overwhelming majority of the UK population tuning in every month. In the digital space we have invested to create a leading data infrastructure.

In this role you will work closely with a large number of teams across ITV, but with particular close relationships with the Product, UX, Engineering, Data Engineering and Research teams. Particular focus will be on providing the insight for ongoing product development as part of a culture of data driven decision making that you will embody.

What You'll Do

  • Partner and work closely with product teams to ensure tagging and tracking of Google Analytics is implemented to give comprehensive insight
  • Provide guidance on setting up experiments and multivariate tests
  • Be proactive in delivering insight that help understand new product features or customer journeys
  • Have curiosity and take initiative into exploring and recommending new solutions and services
  • Work with large and varied datasets whilst data is queried in the most efficient and optimal manner
  • Provide ad hoc analysis or aid in problem solving
  • Provide guidance on setting up experiments and multivariate tests

What You'll Bring
  • Must have experience of using Google Analytics
  • Ideally experience using the full suite of GA360 products inc. Data Studio, BigQuery etc.
  • Experience using Tag Management tools and advising development teams with implementation would be desirable
  • Experience in digital optimisation and experiments (eg multivariate testing) is desirable
  • Ability to clearly communicate data insights to a range of stakeholders
  • Knowledge of SQL would be advantageous
  • Be personable, collaborative and have strong organisational skills
