Job Description

Role Responsibilities:

1.Working through design problems: translating business requirements, client needs, and research insight into ideas, designing the overall flow and elements needed to solve these problems.
2.Sketching and prototyping to quickly evaluate ideas, and designing detailed interaction.
3.Design and iterate according to feedback: from client research, data analysis, and team critique.
4.Collaborating closely with developers, product owners and managers, business stakeholders, and researchers throughout an agile process.
5.To create usable and useful products that are consistent and polished.

Person Specification:
Ability / Expertise

1.Experience designing digital products, systems, apps, or software - not just information-based websites.
2.Communicate design ideas clearly, with rationale.
3.The ability to uncover insight - not just to accept what you hear at face value, but to drive towards the unarticulated, whether it's from users of a system or business stakeholders
1.Qualitative research experience: conducting and facilitating user research.
2.Quantitative research: analysing use of a service, statistical analysis.
3.Experience, knowledge, or interest in the financial world.


- 3 - 5 years' experience designing digital products
- Degree in an associated field: Software design, HCI, Ergonomics, Psychology, Graphic design
