Our client was founded over 10 years ago, operating through a network of retail branches and a corporate and business banking centre in Europe they support retail and institutional clients.

The majority shareholder is an investment group, having recently acquired the business, injected capital and transformed the bank into a profit-making business the shareholders are looking to enter new markets.

They recently received a banking license to setup a branch in London and are looking to build a niche banking business which will initially focus on Real Estate in UK with a focus on syndicated loans and then providing clients with commercial property and residential mortgage lending facilities.  The focus will be on deals around £5-10M, phase 2 of the expansion plan will then be to transform the London branch into the private banking arm of the group to support the retail and corporate division’s which operate from Europe.

The successful candidate will be required to come in and quickly put some syndicated deals on the balance sheet and then build a small team to help build a mortgage business and then provide HNI’s with private banking facilities through 3rd parties.

This represents an outstanding opportunity for very driven and commercial focussed individual.


1. Syndicated loans experience across secondary markets in the Real Estate sector in UK and specifically London.  

2.  Track record of building a mortgage business focused on both residential and commercial Real Estate in UK.

3.  Track record of delivering traditional private backing products to HNI’s through 3rd parties.
