As Treasury Governance & Compliance Manager, you will have responsibility for ensuring compliance with the Group Treasury policy framework, all aspects of internal and external Treasury governance and compliance, and maintaining and continually improving the Treasury Sarbanes Oxley control framework.

As Treasury Governance & Compliance Manager, you will have responsibility for ensuring compliance with the Group Treasury policy framework, all aspects of internal and external Treasury governance and compliance, and maintaining and continually improving the Treasury Sarbanes Oxley control framework.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the Group Treasury policy, defining the framework within which the Treasury function will operate. Recommend, coordinate and implement the Treasury Policy updates ensuring that all the Treasury team are operating to the same policy standards and controls.
  • Deliver all external compliance obligations, for example with bank facilities, regulators, and auditors, ensuring compliance and regulatory requirements and obligations are met.  Also, ensure internal compliance obligations are met. 
  • Manage the monitoring and compliance processes and procedures, including the Sarbanes Oxley process and the issuing of compliance certificates for debt covenants to ensure all regulatory requirements and controls are fit for purpose. 
  • Monitor daily transactions to ensure compliance with risk limits and restrictions; working alongside the Senior Risk Manager.
  • Regularly review procedures and controls to ensure that all controls are fit for purpose.
  • Provide support for other areas of Treasury as required.

 

Requirements:

  • In depth knowledge of Treasury functions and processes, including risk reporting, foreign exchange and debt/interest risks.
  • Comprehensive understanding of financial UK and US financial regulatory and legislative requirements.
  • Appreciation of the wider business environment and a good level of understanding of how businesses operate from a Treasury point of view.
  • Proven track record of building and sustaining solid business relationships with senior internal and external stakeholders.
