My client, a leading multinational bank, is seeking a number of individuals to assist in running the modelling and analysis of Treasury forecast P&L and Balance sheet, working with various stakeholders to ensure accurate, efficient and timely delivery of forecast data for internal MTP, Stress Tests and External Regulatory Stress Tests.

Key Accountabilities & Skills:

  • Running of Treasury Finance P&L models to produce forecast Treasury P&L and Balance Sheet to align with divisional and entity requirements
  • Work closely with Treasury business to ensure Forecast P&L is delivered in parallel with Treasury Funding & Capital Plans, driving efficiencies and best practice
  • Increase efficiency savings around the Treasury Finance modelling process & production of forecast MI
  • Act as a key point of contact for various stakeholder throughout the bank to plan and document the forecast output
  • Preparation of commentaries on key driver for various data cuts needed during the forecast process, acting flexibly and efficiently to meet all stakeholder demands in a timely manner

Your Skills & Qualifications:

Essential qualifications and experience

  • Specific experience in Treasury/Funding, Money Markets or Line Product Control preferred
  • Experience of P&L and Balance Sheet modelling & large data analysis
  • Understanding of products used by Treasury to manage balance sheet and risk
  • Demonstrate appreciation of controls, process enhancement and improvement
  • Strong Excel skills

Preferred qualifications and experience

  • Qualified accountant 
  • Financial services background
  • Numerical degree (2:1 or above) or equivalent
  • Strong Stakeholder Management
  • Up to date knowledge of capital and liquidity factors impacting the banking sector
