Trading Systems Support Engineer

Role Responsibilities:

• Work closely with traders to understand their needs
• Level one to level two support for production systems
• Make contributions to the design and implementation of support system
• Devise different ways to architect and develop solutions
• System health and status reporting
• Provide periodic after-hours coverage

Role Qualifications:

• Financial services experience is ideal
• Scripting skills in Perl, Python, and Bash or Shell
• Knowledge of Linux
• Knowledge of SQL and use of databases
• Strong background in Java (a plus)
• Problem solving abilities
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment, and manage multiple tasks
• Excellent communication skills
