To assist the Head of Trading with the collation of trading data and the analysis of our trade executions across all asset classes and derivatives.

Key Responsibilities

Accountable for collation and analysis of all Trading Cost Analytics

Produce monthly TCA and performance documentation for our Trading Oversight Committee

Produce bespoke TCA and performance analysis data for internal colleagues, clients and consultants

Accountable for the collation and analysis of all counterparty turnover statistics

Help calibrate our TCA exception tolerances

Oversee and monitor our external TCA providers

Collate and Produce Counterparty monitoring data for our six monthly broker review meetings

Maintain our dealing desks procedures and contribute to the maintenance of Order Execution policy and  Insight’s assessment of Best Execution policies

Proactively and independently develop quantitative analyses and tools to help support and enhance our  trading execution strategies

Use statistical and data analysis to provide post-trade analysis for portfolio managers, traders, and management. 

Help maintain and manage third party post-trade execution analytic and vendor relationships

Own, maintain and help calibrate our First line of Defence policies

Help collate our Priips and RTS28 reports

Required Skills and Experience

A good understanding of TCA methodologies across a range of products and TCA providers
Ability to data mine and retrieve and understand large data sets from multiple sources
Excellent, technical, analytical and data presentation skills
Good understanding of MiFID2 best execution rules
A background in Investment Management with a knowledge of market structure and trading processes.  
Strong Excel and data manipulation skills
An understanding of quantitative financial and statistical concepts
Ideally experience of using clickview and SQL or similar products

Personal Attributes

Degree or equivalent qualification ideally in a maths, computer science or engineering background
IMC qualification preferred but not essential
Ability to work independently and proactively generate project ideas
Strong computer skills especially Excel, (VBA, SQL advantageous)
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong quantitative, analytical and quality control skills
Excellent attention to detail
