Our client, a global investment manager with trillions of assets under management, is building an EMEA Trade Processing team from scratch in the London office.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Team Manager to build a London trade processing team from scratch requiring strong fixed income settlements and process implementation experience.
Technical fixed income trade processing experience is essential, although the team will support EMEA & Non US Public Equity and Fixed Income trades to include all additional intricacies that are involved in trade matching, confirmation, transmission and settlement as well as market set-up, re-registration and renewal.
Operations Team Managers will have a minimum of 5 years relevant experience leading either a trade operations, Middle Office or Settlements team and will come from an investment management firm. Candidates will also demonstrate strong analytical and quantitative skills to understand & implement complex workflows and will be detailed orientated to build and replicate operational processes for the London office.
Working closely with the US and Front Office, strong communication skills are required to liaise extensively with Front Office, Traders, Global Custodians, Execution Brokers as well as internally with Middle Office, Legal, Compliance and IT. Your continuous improvement mindset and prior experience of embedding operational processes will be utilised as will your experience of automating straight through processing.
To be considered, it is essential candidates will be degree educated with technical fixed income knowledge as well as advanced Excel skills to Macro level. System knowledge of Omgeo (Alert, CTM, OASYS), Eagle Star, Bloomberg AIM, Charles River and SWIFT messaging is advantageous.
