The International Trading Solutions (ITS) Investor Products Trade Management Group in London is looking for an Analyst level Trade Management hire that will work directly with the trading desk to facilitate the control and support of the Structured Notes business. The role involves PnL generation and validation of daily trading activity, trade lifecycle management and controls, as well as exception management. This role is a high-profile position based on the trading floor, and is part of a team central to all activity relating to the trading desk it supports and therefore interacts regularly with a wide network of internal departments including Structuring, Sales, Quant Strats, Product Control, Risk Management and all other Ops teams.

  • Structured Credit Trading
  • Structured Rates Trading
  • Emerging Markets - Financing Trading
  • Strategic Transactions Group Trading

We Offer
  • Trade capture/validation of a wide range of structured products, from vanilla swaps, CLNs and Asset Swaps, through structured notes issuances, secured funding, gap risk, to complex portfolio restructurings as well as associated hedging activity (Bonds, CDS, CLAS, CDSwaptions, Equity, Futures, and FX Options)
  • Generation and reporting of trading risk/PnL to validate daily trading activity
  • Management and facilitation of all trade lifecycle events - e.g. Call Events, Credit Events, Clearing, Internal Risk Transfers, Corporate Actions and Succession Events, Compression Cycles
  • Ownership, investigation and resolution of exceptions/fails/breaks
  • Liaison with various business partners across the bank
  • Assisting in the implementation of strategic systems and vendor applications. This will involve User Acceptance Testing, on-boarding/go-live support, and implement controls to minimise Operational risk
  • Involvement in the implementation of industry and regulatory initiatives through participation in internal working groups and/or external market forums - e.g. MIFID2, EMIR
  • Regular collation and analysis of data for Management Reporting

You Offer
  • Minimum education to degree level or equivalent
  • Understanding of OTC derivatives markets and products
  • Prior experience in trade support and trade management processes would be useful
  • Strong analytical and advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately in a highly pressured environment
  • Solid team player with good interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrates pro activity, is able to problem solve and adapt to change
  • Ability to multi-task, work to intraday deadlines and accommodate varying levels of volume is essential
  • Strong attention to detail with a desire to question/improve processes
  • Open to flexibility around working hours
