Being a trade application support analyst (have to put the full job title in) can be a thankless job.

You are working in a seriously high pressure environment with people who have zero patience for mistakes. So when you get into this sort of job and you know the team, you know the traders, you know the work patterns... Why would you leave?

So you get an endless stream of Recruiters ringing you...

"Hey want to do the same job you are doing now, with the same tech, with new traders, but for slightly more money."

You probably think, whats the point? 2k more a year for more stress?

But what if it was the same job, but going into that job on day one of some big (global changes). New Market Data system, new Risk Reporting System, new sweet of trading applications... Yep, thats where you come in. Able to learn some of the newest tech out their and be a part of the project team.

Its a great chance to learn some of the newest tech on the market for Trade Floors... So what they want is people who comes from a Rates background, and everything else is down to you.

A key for this role is experience with Front Office Trading Systems and good database and SQL skills. Some knowledge of operating platforms like Unix, Linux or Windows would be a great plus as well.
