Overview

The World First Middle Office team is looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual, with proven arithmetic skills. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a keen interest in the financial markets to move to one of the most innovative and fastest growing foreign exchange companies in the UK.

Examples of Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily Management of the trade life cycle events
  • Identify ways in which we can improve processes, or need to change processes due to internal/external changes
  • Fails management, resolving issues and breaks across all FX products
  • Confirmation of FX trades with counterparties
  • Communicating with other departments (Treasury and Front Office) to ensure correct settlements of trades
  • Monitoring P&L across all EMEA deals
  • Producing analysis for the dealing desks and senior management
  • Ensuring the integrity and continuous improvement of the pre and post trade controls environment
  • Working closely with other Middle Office staff to minimise risk and ensure a smooth and accurate trade to payment process

  • Highly detail orientated
  • Ability to meet deadlines whilst working under minimal supervision
  • Ability to multi-task and produce accurate work under tight constraints
  • Ability to adapt and show initiative when improving processes
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and ability to communicate comfortably at all levels of management
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments
  • Degree educated and with experience in a relevant role
  • Excel – advanced proficiency
