The Test Lead will work closely with test manager and is responsible to implement the test strategy within the project and
ensure that best practices are adhered to.
The Test Lead will be responsible for s etting up and maintaining automation testing framework to support the automation testing process. You will e stablish the automation testing procedure to develop and maintain regression test suite, r eview the automation test scripts created by test analyst and get them to address reviewed comments, e stablish and evolve the formal QA processes and also ensure the testing team is using the industry-accepted best practices, c onsolidate the test reports and metrics from testing to the concern stakeholders. You will also m anage the team of test analysts and testing team's testing processes, planning sessions , task prioritisation, be the p oint of contact for all testing aspects of release and co-ordination the testing activities, d evelop and execute test cases, test plans and procedures(automated and manual) as well as p lan, organise and lead weekly team meetings and ensure that action is taken based on team decision.
Technically your background of working in Digital or Ecommerce related projects as a Test Lead is desirable in this role. You will have experience in creating and maintaining regression test suites using tools such Fitnesse, Rest Assured, WebDriver IO, Selenium, Cucumber, writing acceptance criteria and test scripts using programming language such as Java/Groovy/Java Script, R est API testing using tools such as Postman, JMeter and d emonstrable understanding of testing in the context of both agile and waterfall methodology( functional/non functional) and defect management.
We are looking for someone with good communication skills as well as someone who can produce concise and objective summaries of complex information with a "can-do" attitude. A Self Starter who has the ability to deliver under pressure and to tight timescales, a flexible approach to day to day tasks with an ability to manage multiple deliverables across a variety of stakeholders, be able to identify and communicate in advance any project risks and identify solutions to mitigate them, the ability to co-ordinate across multiple applications and test teams and who pays attention to detail to capture inaccuracies and inconsistencies
