Independent Investment Bank focused on the Technology sector is actively expanding for focused Investment Banking mid-senior Associates to join their leading Technology M&A team based in Europe. The team are active globally with over 80% of deals involving international parties.

The firm derives its success from the team's extensive network, rigorous analytical approach, in-depth sector knowledge and entrepreneurial atmosphere. Sub-sector focuses include: Digital Consumer, Fintech, Emerging Technologies and Enterprise Software / SaaS.

Responsibilities

  • Performing in-depth analysis and financial modelling, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Assisting with Business Development efforts, including financial analysis, market research, development of marketing materials and proactively undertaking introductory discussions with potential clients
  • Preparation of marketing materials for live deals (information memorandum, investor presentations, financial models, KPI and cohort analysis etc.)
  • Undertaking valuation analysis of companies, including comparable companies' analysis, discounted cash flow analysis and leverage buyout analysis
  • Managing and coaching junior team members

Requirements

  • 4+ years work experience within Investment Banking in an M&A focused role
  • Passionate about Technology and Software
  • Strong accounting and financial statement analysis skills with attention to details
  • Strong quantitative and technical skills
  • Ability to manage expectations of senior bankers while working on simultaneous projects
  • High sense of responsibility and ability to work in small deal teams
  • Ability to perform under pressure amid tight deadlines
  • Excellent mathematical, writing, verbal and computer skills
  • Attained a strong academic record from a top tier university
