Your team
You will be joining the Client Data & Regulatory Services organization within the Technology function of UBS Investment Bank. We are a collaborative, global team who are dedicated to delivering high-quality products to our customers using agile methods. You will provide input and oversight to the team, whilst also partnering with CTO on driving out UBS's Data Architecture vision and roadmap.

Your expertise
You are:
- Highly experienced in working with regulatory datasets as well as their positioning with the front-to-back dataflows of an Investment Bank
- A committed self-starter, reliable, responsive and motivated to help teams to be successful
- An excellent communicator who can collaborate with both broad and deep organisations around data
- Aware of on-going technology trends and know how to realise their benefits

You have:
- Long-standing applied experience of transforming large IT organisations onto a strategic architecture
- Substantial expertise in technologies used in data streaming, real-time processing, distributed computing, cloud computing, reporting, visualisation, analytics, machine learning and data warehousing
- Defining or helping to define the data strategy through to its implementation in accordance with the Data Management Policies and rules of the organisation and in collaboration with the Data Officers/Stewards
- The ability to operate at all levels within the organisation (Business, Operations and IT) to maintain and explain the Enterprise Logical Data Model (LDM) which represents all organization data (Key Data Elements, entities, attributes and relationships) together with a suitable business definition
- Assisted in the definition and development of Physical data models and data exchange flows and ensured that they are compliant with and map to the LDM
- Some knowledge of relational, document, graph and time-series databases
- Monitored external initiatives that may affect the way data is defined and maintained across the enterprise
